Three Perfect Days – Lima

I’m a United frequent flier, which means I generally spend a disproportionate amount of time reading their inflight magazine, Hemispheres.

Every month they run a feature called “Three perfect days” and in May they featured Lima!  I was really excited to read this, since it was just after i’d booked the trip to Peru!

Take a read – it sounds like an awesome place!  Wish I ate fish and meat though – so many amazing culinary delights!

Food on the Inca Trail

I’m a vegetarian and have spent a little bit of time worrying about how i’ll cope in Peru in general, and particularly on the Inca Trail.  I was searching today on the Gadventures website (which is amazing, by the way – check it out – – and I came across this blog entry:

I won’t repeat the details here, but needless to say, I don’t think i’ll be going hungry!  I’ll probably have to do a chunk of running when I get home just to burn off the extra calories!
